The beds in our Low Tolerance Long Duration Rehabilitation (LTLD Rehab) program serve patients who, because of their level of disability, need slower-paced rehabilitation therapy to maximize their abilities after surgery, illness or injury.

Through focused, individualized care, most patients are successfully discharged home. Our commitment to patient-centred care does not stop there. The Runnymede team works closely with Home and Community Care at the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network to ensure the right supports are in place for our patients to assure a safe return to the community.

Since its inception in April 2012, we have helped over 1,600 patients regain the functional skills necessary for daily living, mobility and independence to return home.
