Long-term care at Runnymede update
Runnymede Healthcare Centre is moving ahead with its plans to build a 200-bed long-term care (LTC) home adjacent to the existing hospital building. Runnymede recently submitted an application to the City of Toronto as a first step to permit construction of our new long-term care home. You can view the application and related documentation on our website.
The next steps in the process include a review by the City of Toronto and a community consultation which will be led by city planning staff in collaboration with our Ward Councillor, Gord Perks. The purpose of the community consultation is to provide an overview of the application and an opportunity for community members to ask questions and provide feedback.
