Speech-Language Pathology includes a team of dedicated professionals who assist patients who have communication and swallowing problems resulting from progressive illness disease progression, stroke or acquired brain injury. The key areas of focus are re-learning how to communicate and enabling the safe swallowing of food and liquids without fear of choking. All therapy is customized to the specific needs of each patient with a goal to slow the decline in health and improve quality of life.
