Runnymede Healthcare Centre provides complex
continuing care services to adults who:

  • are medically stable
  • have a chronic or progressive illness, severe functional disabilities and multiple medical problems
  • have medical needs that exceed those available through community services or in a Long Term Care facility because of their complexity
  • are unable to live independently in the community
  • have potential for functional improvement
  • wander due to mild dementia

We accept patients that require:

  • continuous oxygen
  • Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
  • management of wandering risk due to mild cognitive impairment
  • reconditioning secondary to multiple pathologies both medical and surgical
  • intravenous therapy including peripheral and central lines
  • uncuffed tracheostomy care
  • parenteral feeding
  • complex wound care
